QUARTZ is a monumental rock made of a set of light sources. Its exceptional size makes it visible from a great distance, inviting the visitors to get closer of this enigmatic object.
The relationship of scale with the spectator finding itself at the foot of the installation provokes a gap, giving into this unusual mineral object an almost mystic aspect, a sensation multiplied by the sound effects which accompany the installation.
Readable and purified, this installation becomes integrated subtly into the landscape and has a dialogue easily with the architecture of the Temple. The verticality and the wired geometry of the stone generate a global feeling of lightness, amplified by the posture of the object which is put on the point.
