WEB is a woven sculpture that is anchored on the existing elements of the landscape. This site-specific work, made with rope, generates a three- dimensional object inspired by the webs woven by spiders. The tension of the multitude of simple threads gives birth to a large-scale structure, rich and complex, which nevertheless remains airy and light. The crossing of the lines produces a multitude of optical effects that play with the perception of the visitors, evolving according to their movements in space. WEB is also an allegory of the digital world. The light of the laser projected on the canvas brings dynamism transforming the network of the canvas into a flow of information. The installation transcribes the invisible and intangible character of the digital world, which is nevertheless very present.
